I finally did a proper ref from my fluffy creatures plus my "y/n"

Now just to be honest, I hate drawing bald, colorless y/n's. This is just my oc Star that I use instead but in story (if I ever get to it) they would be non descriptive.

Also wanted to ask! How did they play when they were babies? Did they have a favourite activity/game? Best place they liked to cuddle pile for naps?

Sun & Moon loved to play wrestle as well as tag & hide n seek. But mostly Sun loved (& still dose) to. collecting shinny things while Moon enjoyed finding new things to chew on.

But to answer your question, it differs depending on which twin finds the child.

Sun would play with them to keep them calm. Making toys out of leaves and twigs. Teaching and feeding them what berries are safe and what aren't. Anything to keep them from getting scared or panicked. He'd wait till dusk when there's less people around on the trails then guide the child to a ranger station or camping site where the child could be reunited with their family.

Moon on the other hand would keep his distance at first. He knows his red eyes scare children, and in the darkness of night that fear is dubbled. So he would sing a gentle lullaby for the child, letting them come to him where he'd lead them to a safer spot. Usually, a small cave or bush made into a shelter. Typically hed continue to sing in order to lull the child to sleep or he would tell them a story to calm their nerves. At dawn he would then take the child to the closest station.
