Petya is the daughter of one of the Tsaritsa’s high-ranking informants, Lyubov Myshetsky . Currently, their family is located in Dragonspine on a long-term diplomatic and information-gathering mission gathering Intel on dragonspine, the life there, and the residents of the mountain. They reside in a mansion they built just on the edge of dragonspine.

She is the youngest of two siblings. Her eldest sister, Ofeliya, and her brother, Zinovey. There is also their father, Ivan Balakirev.

On her mom’s side, they share a sensitivity to elemental energy. If strong enough their appearance can be altered by it. It has been a longstanding tradition for those of the Myshetsky bloodline to gain cryo visions (which give them their white hair and striking blue eyes). Lyubov got hers during a dual with La Signora, before she ever met Ivan. She put a lot of pressure on her children to obtain a cryo vision. She was adamant that whoever got the cryo vision first, she would personally train to take up her mantle once she was gone. It was very clear that whoever got it would be their mother’s favorite. So caused the everlasting rift in the siblings relationship.

Although each child longed to be favored by their mother, Zinovey was not as interested in taking up her mantle He was a daddy’s boy through and through. Ivan also worked in intelligence for the Fatui, but as an organizer and archivist. He spent nights and days studying the art of archival and the storing of information throughout history- from books, to natlans scrolls, the akasha, to the ley lines themself. He got a vision first under the glow of the moonlight one late night. He was so tired, he hadn’t even noticed his candle went out. He sat trying to read the darkened lines over and over until he realized the problem. One he did, a bright glow appeared from beside him. Unquestioning, he kept reading for hours. Only to awake drooling on the pages with a vision beside himself. However it was geo. As soon as he showed up with Amber-colored hair and stark-golden eyes, he was shunned from the family. Left to wander the halls of their home silently and forgotten. Even betrayed by his father, who hardly ever looked him in the eyes afterwards.

Ofeliya was the most passionate of the three siblings. She wanted nothing more than her mother’s love and praise. She did everything, fought terribly hard. Lyubov had already favored her the most, seeing the most promise in her, so she decided to take her on a mission and test her potential. She did excellent. Proving that Lybovs faith in her was well-placed. During their final fight, Lyubov got a nasty wound, which knocked her down. Leaving only Ofeliya to fight off a hoard of hilichurls and wopperflowers. She made her way through her enemies with ease, quickly returning to her mom’s side. She felt how ice cold her mother’s skin was, and immediately warmth spread from Ofeliya into her. A glowing red pyro vision tucked up against her chest. When they arrived home, Ofeliya became another ghost haunting the manor.

All eyes fell on Petya. The last kid. Ofeliya got her vision when Petya was 10, and they moved to Mondstadt when she was 14. Before they moved, Petya overheard her mother talking to another high-ranking informant. She confessed that if Petya had not gotten her vision when she was at least 25, or if she got the wrong vision, then she would leave. Find another man and start over to see if she can raise the 'right child.'

Petya never knew what she wanted to do with her life. Before Ofeliya got outcast, she was mothers little girl. And Zinovey was fathers prodigy. She was left alone, unlike either side of her family, and direction-less. But when she overheard that conversation, she decided what the rest of her life would be. If Ofeliya couldn't do it, if Zinovey was a lost cause, then Petya would have to take up the mantle. Her siblings may despise her for it. But they would be even worse off if she left. She would leave, it would tear father to pieces and he would be forever ruined or worse, and then the three would end up alone.

So before she left, she did something crazy. She stole a cryo delusion. Because she didn't quite understand how to wield it, it didn't change her eye color or hair color. Her eyes, she wasn't worried about. Neither of her parents payed enough attention to them to notice if her eye color hadn't changed. But light brown hair against stark white was obvious. she dawned the ushanka to hide it. Never being seen without it since the moment she got her 'vision.'

Her mother was surprised, lightly delighted, yet very disappointed. She begrugingly declared Petya as her favorite, to everyone's dejected cheers. Thus, started the end of her life.

Being in Mondstadt was miserable and worst of all lonely. Her friends-- Kohaku, Lev, and Haven, weren't here. Letters would never enough interaction for her. Because of the move she got broken up with by her ex girlfriend, Manya. She was the youngest, she had a set perimeter she was allowed to walk. And she walked all of it. Yet, never encountered anyone (at least, anyone who didn't run away once they saw she was fatui).

Until she met Lonnie. Duirng a patrol around the mountain, Petya encountered a frostarm lawracurl. Her cryo was useless against it. And, despite her training, she managed to make every single mistake possible in this battle. But then, a barrage of Crystalline, ruby red arrows shot past her. Two large hands that looked like crimson agate slamed down next to her, and overhead a person flew by. After defeating it, they walked over. looked them up and down, clearly spotting her fatui insignia. And then they lended Petya a hand. They were rude, immediately, but Petya understood why. The fatui have the reputation they do for a reason.

She learned that their name was Lonnie, and they were born and raised in Dragonspine. Another reason to be angry at her. But even with their bluntness, and brief lecture about how the fatui were taking over their home, they were still nice. For the first time since she left home, it felt like someone was treating her like a human.

From that day, Petya and Lonnie became inseparable. Petya was doing things she never thought she would do, and she was happy in a way she'd never felt. Breaking her mothers rules were a fear that plagued her nightmare. Yet with Lonnie, it was a fun past-time.

Of course, all this beauty and enjoyment came with a price. Although she spent as much time with Lonnie as she could, she was still on the path to fulfill her mothers footsteps. And every second away from Lonnie was like pure torture. Mentally, from her own inner demons screaming at her about her future. And physically, from her mother preparing her for said future. The future that she now desperately craved to escape. There was one there, waiting for her in the mountain, that was warm and smelled like mint and roses. but it was one she could never have

One day, Lonnie and Petya decided to conqure the Cryo Hypostasis. Petya needed to learn how to fight without the use of her 'vision' (because it was making her weaker and weaker by the day, but shh that's not happening nooo). Fighting something it was useless against would be good training. And Lonnie would be there to swoop in and save her, as they always did.

Every second in battle got worse and worse. It seemed that the tides would never be in their favor. They were weak, and it was just getting stronger. At some point, Petya found herself on her knees, leaning against the warmth of the pyro pillar, clinging onto it to fight the bitter cold. Lonnie was held up against a wall by the Hypostasis' cubes. It was closing in on her, about to end her. Petya's sword was nowhere to be found. She would never be able to defeat the beast with her bare hands, and her delusion did nothing. It was the most panic she had ever felt. But then she turned to the pillar. In her moment of desperation, she yanked the pyro particle out of the stand, ran over to the hypostasis, and slammed the pyro particle directly into the cube. It exploded, Petya was sent flying back, and Lonnie dropped to the ground, safe. Lonnie got up-- the Hypostasis was dead-- but looking at Petya, she might have been too. They rushed to her side, preparing to get her to healers, but then noticed something. Her 'vision' was attached to her necklace, the unfamiliar silver snezhnaya casing complimenting her aesthetic. But there was another, clutched in the singed hand. Still cryo, but with a mondstadt casing.

In the end, she made it. her left arm was severely scarred. But other than a month or so of pain, she was fine. Given that they lived in the cold almost 24/7, it really wasn't that hard to cover up her arm and hand. She got some confused stares when she started to only wear the one glove. But Petya was always the strange one when it came to fashion, so it wasn't really questionable.

Lonnie had taken the vision and hid it until Petya was fully recovered. She stepped through the door of Lonnies house, and they watched as her eyes changed from silver to blue once she got close to her vision. It was a lot to process. But ultimately, a net positive for Petya. She asked Lonnie to help hide the delusion. When she returned home, she took off her ushanka. Her family was stunned, to actually see her hair again. They took it as this weird phase being over, but she took it as a sign of pride. The day she didn't have to hide her roots anymore.

Her mother and Father found nothing suspicious, but her siblings did. Only four days after she got her vision, they cornered her in the family library. Her eyes were blue now, and they were not blue before-- why?

She tried to play it off as though it was her vision just taking a while to work its magic. But Ofeliya wasn't buying it. Both her's and Zinoveys eyes turned the moment they got their vision, same with their hair. But Petya kept her silver eyes, and coincidentally started to wear a hat that she was then never seen without. She got her vision 4 years ago, and her eyes turned blue four days ago. Then there was also the big elephant-- why was vision a mondstadt vision now?

They were ruthless, and Petya couldn't hide it anymore. After making them promise to keep a secret, Petya revealed the truth. She never wanted to take up the mantle. But she heard what she heard, and knew if Mom left it would be even worse. So she stole a delusion. But, she had the vision now, the right one at that. She didn't have to hide anymore.

Ofeliya and Zinovay's outlook on everything changed. Petya was just as distant as when they were kids. But she was willing to give up her life (The one they knew she'd rather spend with Lonnie), just to protect them? From there, they started to heal. After a life lived of fighting for mothers attention, they all came to the conclusion. They didn't give a shit about her. They'd rather live a life with no parents at all, but together, then have this little nuclear family. ~~ FIN ~~

Jifang asked me if I could run an errand for her in Qingce Village, so that's where I am now. I ran into that guy with the light blue hair again on my way to the address I was given, and he seemed to recognize me from the last two times we ran into each other. We didn't really say much, though. He seemed a little awkward and I'm not that great with talking to people.

I was going to head back to Liyue Harbor right after I finished the errand, but the view on the way out was nice enough for me to stay a bit longer. I know my last teacher would've wanted me to enjoy it.
