to say it shortly, Autism Speaks has no autistic ppl in the staff, has until recently (financially) supported research with motives for eugenics, support abuse of autistic children and adults, compare autism to cancer, and theres prob more i knew of
ppl often link to the Autism Women’s Network but their page on why AS is bad was more like a long opinionated poem or something?? but i do feel rly them on this matter lol
