hello mx. crungulus i have a gift- I work at a site that manufactures prescription drugs (mainly CII drugs like oxycodone, morphine, and amphetamines) and when we get a new tablet press in to compress the medication into a tablet form, they also bring along these copper "blank" fake pills to show what the tablets should look like when they're done in production. These are a few I collected from older presses that we would display in the offices. I would just like you to know that these exist. ok thanks bye
Thank you for this, I am so glad to know these exist. Also I want to put them inside my mouth or maybe a shotgun shell
You are exactly what god dreamed of when they first made humanity
I really want to have a funny response to this but actually every few weeks I just open my inbox and stare at this message for a few seconds and then exit again. anyway uh thanks. for that.
I have heard that is it possible to answer asks privately. However, being technologically illiterate, I cannot figure out how to do this. So to everyone being nice to me in my inbox — thank you so much.
I’m not gonna answer them all publicly so as to avoid a deluge of posts about me feeling validated, but know that I’m reading them & I appreciate it very much :)) sending u all a metaphorical and largely up-to-interpretation kiss on the forehead xx
could we also send you pictures of pills for you to draw? or is the finding them coincidentally an intrinsic part of the appeal?
Finding them coincidentally is definitely an intrinsic part of the appeal, but if anyone else ever happens to find a pill coincidentally, feel free to send a picture my way.
That being said, it might be a while before I get around to drawing them because I just moved and did not bring my crayons with me (I still own crayons, I just left them in my childhood bedroom).

I found you via your crayon pill drawings. They're beautiful, and so is the way you write; your literary voice even shines through your goofy shitposts. I'm curious what you like to read, if you want to share?
Thank you! This is very kind. Regrettably, it's been a while since I've done much reading for fun. On the whole, I'm a big fan of absurdity, though.
In high school I read a lot of Chuck Palahniuk. Some of it I really thoroughly adored, other stuff not so much. There is a fine line between using edginess and shock value in ways that are effective and deliberate, and using it in ways that just feel gratuitous and overwrought. He has stuff that falls on both sides of this line.
As a kid, I was very much into fantasy as a genre. I wanted magic and talking animals. So middle school was when I read Tolkein and Warrior Cats.
I think the most recent reading I did for fun was when I read Red Dragon, The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, and Hannibal Rising in the span of two weeks, during which I also watched all the movies. But that was less about loving the books and more about the good clean fun of media analysis.
I recently took a brief tour through 20th century American lit for a class and enjoyed it, but the scope there is really broad.
These days I read a lot of elder scrolls lore, but I think that's not what the question is getting at.
I'm open to recommendations
You mentioned a vintage ibuprofen collection is your post about drawing pills you find. It really peaked my interest, and I’d love to see it if you are willing to share :]
Name dropping my vintage ibuprofen collection has also raised a lot of questions. Here it is!
There are some allergy pills in there too, I think.
The story behind the vintage ibuprofen is that my mom was showing me some of her old purses, clothes, etc because I love the stories that old objects tell. But like... there was so much loose ibuprofen. She'd pick up a bag and open it up to see what kind of mementos were inside, and some ibuprofen would fall out. And I was like hm. Well, I guess I'll hold onto that.
This is the kind of juncture where people usually ask me something to the effect of, "why?" And my answer is that this question basically never crossed my mind. There isn't always a compelling, rational explanation. Silliness and joy are enough :))
I feel like you'd be a hot commodity if we had fun rich people. They'd be fighting over you to have as part of the artists they just put up in houses on their land and give you money to live and show off your pill art. I'd snap you up.
If only. This is definitely being filed under fascinatingly specific things people have said to/about me though. Thank you for that, sincerely
