The crispy crunch of Rice Krispies cereal and the sweetness of milk chocolate combine to create a delicious no-bake treat called Milk Chocolate Rice Krispies Bars. They're simple to prepare and a great way to sate your chocolate cravings!
Ingredients: 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal. 1 package 10 ounces milk chocolate chips. 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter. 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar.
Instructions: Line a 9x9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until the mixture is smooth and fully melted. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the chocolate mixture, stirring until well combined. Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, making sure they are evenly coated with the chocolate mixture. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and press it down firmly using a spatula or the back of a spoon. Refrigerate the bars for about 1-2 hours or until they are set. Once set, remove the bars from the pan using the parchment paper overhang and place them on a cutting board. Cut into squares or bars of your desired size. Serve and enjoy!
