Stormy Weather (by Mint Images)
Crash's new thing is climbing up my arm (or back) and onto my head. At first I thought he was being sociable, but turns out he's trying to jump out the playpen! He's also worked out that there's a part of my back/neck that I can't reach without moving (and I can't move because the other two are running around me!) so he's been hiding out there, keeping me "hostage" for up to 20 minutes at a time! Tricky wee guy.
A Death in the Family
Today I mourn the loss of one of my closest friends, he was by my side for years, always there to help me relax and distract myself when times were dark. Though it was often said that he was too old and worn out for the work he did, he struggled through bravely until the very end.
I sat with him in his final hours, and he passed away almost instantly, peacefully.
Today, my graphics card died.
Even during such a tragic event, you must move on, so I set about making the proper arrangements.
A small service was held to commemorate the loss, many of his old friends were in attendance, the monitor cable who was injured during the original install, the little screw that would jokingly fall out when he vibrated too much, and the now retired video capture card, who previously worked below him.
Even his arch-rival, the power supply with no 6-pin adapter, was there to mourn the loss.
We've been on many journeys together, across Morrowind and Ferelden, we've searched the stars together, hunting for reapers, and in your final days we blazed a trail across the world of Minecraft, perhaps now you can finally rest old friend.
