This app and its previous iteration as Social Turkers again feel like something straight out of a dystopian world. Why are we letting strangers and other people weigh directly in on our social interactions at the moment? It feels like there is a level of disingenuine-ness. You’re not talking to one person but a person and a group of others guiding them through. Also, I think it’s great. Why not use a technology as a real-time interaction tool to guide us through social situations? What’s the difference between this and texting a friend under the table at dinner asking for advice?
