Peeps always make her just “50% of mitula” and ignore her character, of which there is not much, but still something! I thought it’d be interesting to pair her with someone else. I could explore her as single but I wanted an excuse to do a weird rare pair no one has ever heard of and come up with a new and original scenario for it!

I think pairing cronus with someone is the other fun part of this, because we only ever see what he’s like when he’s single. Being in a relationship won’t make him better, as I kiiiiiind of hopefully showed in my art. (twas my intent)

There lore behind it too, with her and cronus in this au being childhood friends who got together over time friends to lovers style. She’s all about her aesthetic and being bffs with cronus means they kinda matched, she was def charmed by him at first but he became this horrible codependent mess she has to look after (being a service class based on decision making). Her friends don’t at all approve of the relationship but she wants to stay with him anyway. Horrible situation all around ❤️

I also also think with Latula’s self consciousness hidden by her persona, and her aspect as a mind player she would be fun to explore a guilt complex with, i mean even in canon she kind of just does not interfere with situations enough.
