Yesterday was the first day of 2019, and we decided that there was no better time to start a new project. Being lucky enough to live in God’s own county, we made it a little way north to Cropton, armed with a camera, a dog itching to play in the mud, and an emergency satsuma (each!). The sky was moody, that wonderfully aggressive blue-grey colour that instantly improves any photograph taken beneath it, and we gleefully took the first images in our upcoming North Yorkshire series. Over the next few months, we are planning to take a greedy fistful of additional trips north, to places including, but by no means limited to:

Pickering | Dalby Forest | Malton | Cropton (again) | Hutton-le-Hole | Thornton-le-Dale | Rosedale & the Chimney | Goathland & ... Whitby!
