Porrim has a lot of relationship experience, and she felt pity for Cronus, so she started giving him advices on how to at least have a chance of filling his quadrants.

Cronus was so grateful he didn't even dared ruining it by flirting with Porrim, so he would just do whatever she said (it still failed tho).

When Porrim had problems and troubles, and no one was able to tell because she bottled it all up, Cronus managed to annoy her enough for her to open up, and they would talk bout it.

It took them ages to see that maybe trying to be in a pale relationship together would not hurt, and when they ended up being so, it was the healthiest both of them have been. And Cro never really try to shift quadrants, to Porrim's surprise.
