today we had a run in with one of the most deadly plants: poison hemlock. I was in the front of the house pulling up some garlic mustard which i just learned is not just another edible weed, but an invasive non-native species that effectively poisons the soil against all plants that are not itself. I noticed a tall white flowering plant that looked like it could be wild carrot (otherwise known as queen anne's lace), a wild vegetable and powerful herb, and being in a pulling mode i just went and pulled it out of the ground. It had a long carrot looking root, which I smelled, it didn't smell very good. Muthi told me from the other room to be careful, they remembered wild carrot looks similar to another poisonus plant. I immediately run for my laptop and google search it.stop playin! you were like fuuuck Mu s/he don't know shiiit! Muthi mentioned both wild carrot and hemlock but of course only being credited here with mentioning a nameless alternative to wild carrot @ which you did NOT run to your laptop. You sluggishly consented that you may need to chill with your rockish savage behavior of pulling up random plants. Sure enough poison hemlock and wild carrot are doplegangers.Â
