It.its kind of funny how clos.ose our birthday is to halloween and how many of our headmates have a spooky/halloween related identity.
amporas throvwing shade more than a tree on a sunny day.
As useful as signs can be for trans people, I think cis people need to get that idea out of there head or at the very least put it lower on the priority table. I hate it when we talk to mother and we specifically talk about moments from growing up, trying to get her to see it....and she still says " There weren't any signs," THERE WERE. and we are telling them now.. and even if there wasn't when we first specifically told you that should have been all the signs you needed. that should have been enough.

The worse part about our apartment/home
Okay so there are a few things wrong with it, but I think a lot of them come from this one specific issue, and the issue is that it exists as two floor, but neither floor feels that big and neither floor has what it needs to feel *comfortable* First floor is in a straight line, living room(that also functions as MiL's bedroom)> weird hall way that might have one been a dining room > kitchen >bathroom. Then upstairs we have 2 rooms, one that only has one outlet area and no ceiling lights, and a second that is kind of two rooms split in half but doesn't have a door, and one is quite small.
so the second floor has no source of water for anything which just feels really bad, the airflow is really weird, and there are a lot of weird corners. First floor there isn't really a lot of comfortable places to sit, it is just rough and it makes hosting difficult.

TBH I think DM's who have a large story they want to tell get a bad rep a lot of time. They should account for player agency obviously but wanting a more linear or narrative focused story isn't a bad thing, and when done well can be a beautiful thing. Overall tbh I think there tends to be this idea of the DM's being here for the players enjoyment and so the DM having a desire beyond facilitating whatever the players want to do is frowned upon or not being seen as appropriate. I think this is also what generally leads to DM burnout(even for dm's who don't have the focus on a story they wish to tell).
