When my dad was just a bit older than I am now he was studying in StonyBrook for his MBA and saw my mom on a pageant contest on Mexican television. He told his friends he would go back to Mexico, marry her and come live in New York City.

He got the girl. He finally made it to the city. (I somehow made it into the mix, lol).

Now it's time for his next dream to come true.

My dad has opened a restaurant in the Hell's Kitchen area of NYC. It's called Crispín’s and the menu is a mix of pasta, seafood and quality meats. It's also a wine bar with over 150 wines and growing.

I'm hoping that I can get some Tumblr family love up in here to spread the good word.

I built the website and I am running the marketing/social media for the restaurant. I'm curious to see what you guys think... but also would love for you to let any of your friends/family in the area know about our place.
