I actually a whole brush for this, and was really winging the angle. Which is helpful cause artists need to expand. ANYWAY haha I told @crimsonsalutations I would do this and I did it. I love the blue cyborg design beyondly and I am happy how this turned out.

sorry to just butt in on your post, but blizz never actually implied that! the mercy resurrected gabriel theory was a fanon one. no support for it exists in game or out of game
actually theres a game interaction between mercy and reaper where she asks ‘what happened to you’ and he responds with ‘why dont you tell me, doc?’ implying that she had at least partial blame for his condition. Now that I think about it, Mercy’s resurrection might have exacerbated Reyes’ condition. We know he looks monstrous (as implied in the comic Old Soldiers), maybe he was stable before resurrection? He definitely didn't look monstrous in the Moira lore video

I agree. Lots of gender roles type stuff? Jack is often more easily upset, not quite as skilled, easily tricked- and in most r76 fics, Gabe tends to beat his ass in fights without even trying. After the fight there will be like... 10 minutes of apology wank where 76 is somehow blamed for everything up to & including the omnic crisis after he realizes Reap is Gabe. Then he cries. And Gabe hates him w/o much reason. Basically hes either being a dick or crying always. :/
