Thatās skekSa for sure. Sheās the only skeksis to genuinely love the gelfling right from the beginning (even if that love is tainted). The final two books does a great job at exploring her character, even doing a deep dive into her psyche and who she was as SaSan. Even if she was as bad as the other skeksis were, she seemed like the only one that could be reasoned with (and perhaps even join the resistance). Sheās a really interesting character and I can only hope they expand upon this in future seasons.
As for skekMal, absolutely. All the skeksis are complex in their own way and while he didnāt have as much focus, the Hunter is more than he seems. Iāve talked about it before, but I theorized that skekMalās obsession with the Hunt comes from a desperate act of self-preservation as he, like the other skeksis, fears death. His whole trophy hunting and philosophy surrounding it is the strongest evidence for this. Also despite being a recluse, he seems to have strong ties to the Dousan Clan and Rekāyr in particular. Rekāyr is the only gelfling to refer to a skeksis by name. For someone who views them as weak and pathetic creatures, skekMal is on a name basis with one of them. Heās an interesting character and thereās no way heās one dimensional.
