Haven't really posted anything for a while, I joined the creatunary challenge on insta to get my creative process stimulated, and loved the result!

Haku, the 212th Known One.

Last of this lovely palette, I enjoyed the challenge it presented and the dark colors made for some lovely sea sides. The theme provoked images of some monster washed ashore but I try to do the second idea that comes to mind instead of the first thus we have our crabs. Initially my plan was to have a tiny crab laying siege to a sand castle city but I am woefully ill and the spirit was unwilling for such a workload. So I doubled down on the crabs and gave them a big parent watching over them which I think worked really well for the piece overall.
