Polaroid portrait 83/1000
A little over a year ago, Brandy and I went to check out the As Many Weirdos as Possible exhibit at Base Camp Studios 2 (the former Bergman Luggage space on 3rd Ave). As we were leaving, we saw a sign that said, “artist studio open” with an arrow pointing up some stairs. We went in and found ourselves in what felt like an abandoned building. As we started thinking maybe we weren’t supposed to be there, out of the shadows came… a puppy. That puppy was Huckleberry. Huckleberry’s human is Paul, and it was his studio that was located up there. Paul has a very distinctive style, so when walking through Belltown, it’s easy to pick out murals that he’s done. His work is rad. Sometimes it’s best viewed with 3-D glasses.
