César Ríos centra su producción visual y escultórica mezclando elementos icónicos de la cultura prehispánica mexicana para así integrarlos a la cotidianidad de la estética del año 2000. Donde la tecnología fue un suceso voraz tangible e impuesto. Generando en el imaginario de César piezas que concilian de manera extravagante el antagonismo de los fenómenos globalizados con las usanzas locales. Genera con sorna, imágenes que soslayan la nostalgia del culto a los objetos icónicos del Y2K. En las manos del artista, la piratería es la justicia de la precariedad y las bocinas son el gran Curicaueri ardiente que comulga a las masas que escuchan en alto volumen el futuro ancestral.
