well first of all I would've found a way to keep sayla in I think it was a huge mistake to just leave her out even if her original voice actress was unavailable and idk if there was any legal stuff keeping them from just hiring a different actress but it seems like such a silly reason to abandon such an interesting character ? most of what I'd change involves the treatment of the women and the pace of the plot but what I meant when I said "cca didn't happen" was that I refuse to believe amuro and char are dead...........nah. it's too early for them to join the skeleton army

ehhh I don't have enough experience in the field of psychology to say anything like that but I think that's either tied to his theme of "identity" (imo) as he does shed those often or it's just a product of using the same character for a long time? some of the writing in 79 was a little "????" and I'm sure tomino himself changed a lot over the course of directing all these gundams so it's only natural that his characters would change as he changed and got more experience? I dunno really

but that's literally the entire plot of gokaiger (no but really I figured as much I just don't know the names of the movies)
