I'm making this post to ask you to help me raise money so that I can afford to travel from Alaska to Michigan! There is no real "deadline", but the sooner we reach the goal, the sooner I can be there to take care of my mother. How It Happened (as I know it):

My mother was hooking her dog to its runner when it had a "squirrell!!" moment and tried to escape; mom held fast, but was taken down in the process. She felt something "shift move into a place where it shouldnt be", and then attempting to move in certain ways caused her massive pain. She hooked her very sorry, very worried, suddenly very obedient dog to her runner before my 65-year-old mother dragged herself across the lawn to her porch.

Several hours later (mom only knows that it was "later enough" that it was "starting to get dark") her neighbor gets home from work and finds her, calls my aunt and mom gets taken to the hospital. The good news is that she did not have to have anything replaced; there was a minimally-invasive surgery where the cracked portion of her hip was put back into place and then secured with three "tiny screws". Unfortunately, that's where her good luck ended.

Within two days of her returning home - unable to walk on her own for ANY distance - my aunt decided that Actually taking care of my mother was just too much of a hassle. My aunt has reduced her involvement to making my mom one (1) cup of coffee in the morning (even if mom is asleep) and taking my mom to her doctor checkups.

My mother is unable to walk.

My mother is unable to do laundry.

My mother is unable to cook for herself.

I’ve posted here before about how much I hate working retail, and I’m an avid supporter of Universal Basic Income – but my country doesn’t offer that!

As a surprise to probably most of you, but possibly not all of you, I’m poor! I have no home of my own, no college degree, monthly bills, medical debt, and I’m unable to work retail jobs for longer than a year because some customers treat retail workers like garbage, so I always spiral into depression after a few months of being told how stupid and useless and terrible I am! So I’m offering a few different services to make money. And I’ll be claiming it all as Income when I Pay Taxes on it – that’s how legitimate and non-prostitution these methods are:

Peer-Editing Written Assignments, Any Subject*

I’ll fix grammar mistakes, unnecessary repetition, check your sources (if you have any) and also fix spelling if it is needed, since not every writing program includes a function to check spelling. The only language I can read properly is English, so unfortunately I can’t offer this to anyone writing in a different language. I can only take on so many assignments each week to reliably return them before their due dates, so when you contact me at  [email protected] make sure the subject line of your email says “ Peer-Edit Request “ so that I can respond quickly to let you know if I can edit your paper, or if you will have to find someone else.

I accept .doc, .docx and .txt files and will return your edited assignment as either a .docx or .txt file as you request it. I understand that not everyone has access to pay-to-use programs like Microsoft Office; if the only service you need is transforming your .txt file into a .docx file, please include the term “ File Change Only “ in the subject line of your email so that I can help you quickly – requesting only this service has no fee, as there are several free options online, but my method is guaranteed to have no viruses, ads or email schemes, and I can actually go through the transformed document to make sure your content was reformatted properly before I return it to you (i.e. the spacing of your document is not suddenly doubled, or the font has gone crazy).

If you try to send me a .rar or a .zip file I will be extremely suspicious and I will not open it. I will not return your edited paper until your payment is secured in my account. If your paper contains overly offensive content (i.e. the defense or support of racism/racists or terrorism/terrorists), I will not edit your paper at all, so any payment you made will be returned.

*Not math. I’m terrible at math. For the love of all that is good in this world and for the sake of your own grades, do not send me your math.

For Fiction/Creative Writing:

$5 for the base fee at one page, $1 for every additional page (a five-page paper would cost $9). These assignments don’t generally involve checking sources, and might be fun to read, so they get a smaller base fee.

If you are writing a full-length book/novel that you will be publishing, I am not that kind of editor; please look up professional editors for your professional book.

For Papers with Works-Cited/Bibliography Pages (Research Writing):

$10 for the base fee at one page, $1 for every additional page. Papers that are twenty (20) pages or longer, not including works-cited/bibliography, will cost $2 for every additional page (a nineteen-page paper would cost $28, but a twenty-page paper would cost $48).

Drawing on Patreon

I love to draw! And its always nice to get feedback from others on what I’ve drawn and how I can improve.

My Patreon is new, so while I’m starting out I’ll be doing mostly fandom-related content; canon characters from video games like Harvest moon (left) and AU designs of characters like Harry Potter (right) are just the tip of the iceberg!

These examples are two pencil sketches that I took quick phone-pictures of. I also do digital art, and will take requests from certain tiers. For certain higher tiers I will post art that is sexual, or at least “mature,” along with additional perks; there will be sfw versions of these tiers for people who cannot or do not want to see sexual pictures, but do want access to the additional perks. (i.e. for [tier] I will allow access to mature content and links to a monthly livestream where I may be asked to draw mature media, so in its partner tier [tier] I will allow access to a separate livestream that will only feature sfw media.

My Patreon will have a full list of what I will or will not draw, but here I will specifically mention that I will not be drawing any of the MCU. From what I have seen, people who request MCU “characters” are actually wanting artists to draw the actor in their movie costume, so when the artist draws the Marvel character in their art style, instead of the photo-realistic portrait of a real person like the requester actually wanted, the requester complains and may write bad reviews. If I get bad reviews, I want them to be about something I actually did wrong, so I will be staying away from live-action-only fandoms. I do love Marvel (and DC!), though, so I hope I’ll be able to change this part of my policy in the future.
