This was definitely good practice- don’t think I’d drawn Solo (or their kid Ember!) before, and I find it challenging to do the same range of motion you do with your characters- especially Solo!- I clearly didn’t get the original pose right (didn’t notice when I was drawing, but its clearer now that they’re right next to each other), but I’m still pretty happy with how it turned out! Hands are still tricky too, didn’t quite match those either (esp. Ember)

Been wanting to draw these two together for a bit now! @crayonmod ‘s Pisca and my Altan Mor (human design also by crayonmod) (also been wanting to try out the new design!)

Figured it’d be fun to have these two strong hermity ladies interact! Had to figure out what Altan’s backstory would be in a modern setting. Like Pisca, Altan is also not fully accustomed to modern life- growing up in the People’s Republic of Mongolia was already fairly isolated (as the country pretty much only interacted with the Soviet Union) , and Altan grew up in a particularly remote and traditionalist region until the government finally found them and made them participate in herding collectivization. With the collapse of the Soviet union and the communist government in her country, Altan left the country (probably sponsored by a program created by Mr. Khan to provide opportunities abroad)
