Here is the coloured version of my entry, Nebulark. 

I wanted to really show off how cool nebula patterns look, so to do so I used a picture of the Seahorse Nebula, located here. (If this counts as being “not my art” then please drop me a message and I’ll colour it less impressively!)

Just the quick lineart for my entry for the blind art competition. I will submit a fully coloured version soon, just wanted to get my entry in!

Nebulark(name as a placeholder) is a flying/dark(or even ghost?) type pokemon (not really quite sure). It’s body is usually very dark blue, but it’s feathers meld between a myriad of colours, much like those of nebula gas (shown on it’s body in the two inside sections on its wings and the base of its tail).

Lore-wise, I imagine it to be extremely elusive, only found on clear nights at the tops of mountains. It is said that it’s arrival heralds the birth of a new star. Its feathers are highly prized for their beauty.

Mechanically, I would like it to tie in with the new Midnight weather condition, and have an ability that means two-turn charge moves (Sky Attack, Solarbeam etc.) lose their charge-up time when Midnight is the active weather condition. It would have stats equivalent to a frail mixed sweeper.

Obviously this is just my opinion, as I’m only really supposed to supply art! Based on the phoenix and nebulas, and the idea of rebirth of stars from said interstellar dust clouds.
