Garbage Pail Kids artist Joe Simko and former Topps executive Ira Friedman have teamed up to create Craniacs, with trading cards available now and an animated series in the works.

Hi, back with another chalkzone theory! I honestly don’t talk about the Craniacs enough lol

First, let’s establish some things. Craniac 3, when he’s first introduced, is seen rummaging through a dump in order to find “futuristic” devices, and he seems to have a technoticer built into his front panel.

Said technoticer helps him find *sigh* another atomic broom, which he throws into his ship. (causing it to explode). He obviously has a whole ton of other futuristic devices that we can assume he’s going to take back to the Futuredome. Why would he be doing this? Why does he have such an affinity for going out and finding futuristic devices to bring back to the futuredome? 

Let’s establish something else: We don’t really know how all of these “Bad Ideas for the future” came from, other than the vague explanation given by Penny, which was pretty much just an accurate guess. 

Another thing: We don’t know where the first 2 Craniacs came from, and why the creator keeps making one Craniac after another. 

Craniac 3 might be going out to find new futuristic devices for the futuredome because he wants to expand the futuredome’s collection of Bad Ideas for the Future, or maybe the collection was started by the Craniacs in the first place. Don’t you find it a little bit suspicious that ALL the bad ideas for the future were erased in the same spot? Don’t you find it a little bit suspicious that they all ended up in a dome with a giant tower in the middle, full of mysterious robots with an unclear origin that go out and collect new Futuristic devices to be integrated into the aforementioned dome? 

When Craniac 3 was first erased, did he have to force Craniac 2 into the cryo chamber by force, or did he simply know when it was his time to be replaced? Craniac 3 seems to know exactly who he is, and knows a lot about the Craniacs that came before him- So whoever created him didn’t create him by chance, and created him KNOWING what he was meant to do and who he was meant to be. The Craniacs were all created by the same person, or alternatively-  Who knows? Maybe Craniac 1 was created, then created Craniac 2, and Craniac 2 created Craniac 3? Craniac-ception maybe? I dunno!
