This morning I’m thinking about crafting. Obvs I’m crafty, arty, whatever you want to call it. Making things fulfills me, it’s who I am, always have been... I make pottery, I sew, I bake&cook, I garden and work with fabrics. I love pattern. If I could tell myself at 16 what to pursue, it would be textiles...What’s brought this on? this ruminating, looking back, looking forward...I’m so busy these days that I try to make the most of the quiet moments that I steal from each short 24 hours. I recommend it, steal a bit of time for yourself each day! Today’s photo is of my new butter dishes, (psst, they’re in my etsy shop) That little butter knife was crafted by my husbands maternal grandmother in Liverpool, she made little spoons too, she also made hats! Thinking about my family, flipping through the faces and names, so many creative, wise, hardworking people. I give thanks🙏🏼#thispotterslife #craftingfolk #loveyourlife #handmade (at London, United Kingdom)
