So here is what I've been working on the past few days - a rough continuation to some of the events of the RP that myself and a number of my friends on Tumblr were part of. Specifically, this is for Ramblingredrose, who's character I hijacked for this fic, because she is wonderful and this week was an awful week for Wanda Maximoff. There are a lot of things that we didn't end up getting to do when we played Wanda and Vision, and so I decided to write a bit of what could have happened.

The 'verse this fic is set in is very different from 616 or the MCU, as it comes out of over a year's worth of RPing. There are notes at the beginning of the fic that explain some of the key points.

*As forces go, it wasn't the worst Erik had ever been a part of. They were highly trained, there was no doubt of that. And small in number. And desperate. All circumstances he was comfortable with.*

*He did not trust a single one of them, and kept himself apart because of that. He knew that as soon as this battle was over and Osborn's regime broken, the old patterns would reassert themselves and this alliance would shatter. He knew this as surely as he knew which direction the sun would rise, or exactly what percentage of the transport plane's construction was comprised of metallic alloys that he could manipulate.*

*mutters to self* Sixty-eight point five. Strange. That seems low.

-Sue Storm glances at him- "Did you say something?"

*He smiles and pats her hand* Forgive me, I was calculating an angle of trajectory for... *laughs and waves his hand* Distracting myself. You know how it is.

-Sue is unconvinced, but decides not to press the issue and just nods.- "It looks like we're here, we should get ready for the drop".

So, we're moving towards finishing up Wanda's time in the future, and that means we're heading into the Siege storyline, done CS style.

Since we all have different time commitments and it is hard to coordinate a big event, people are welcome to play out scenes from this fight at any time they want, and if you want to skip over this entirely, you can do that as well. The Sentry fight will span the general sequence of events, so other fights and things can be built around it if you want.

*The apartment is too quiet sometimes when Birdie's gone, though he doesn't really notice the quiet if he's not trying to. Quiet can be a constant state if he wants it to be*

*Clint sits at the breakfast bar, hunched over a bowl of cereal, reading the newspaper because oh god everything is awful. He doesn't bother with his hearing aide because there's no point. No one's going to be calling him to action any time soon*

*May as well just chill. And enjoy the quiet.*

*The last six months have been difficult. Sigyn freely admits that. To herself, not to her parents. Their attempts at faking concern make her more ill than the Hel-damned morning sickness that lasts all day.*

*The healers told her it would get better as her pregnancy progressed.*

*They are cursed, cursed liars. One and all.*

*Sigyn crawls, literally, on her hands and knees, back to bed and curls up with a basin and prepares for another day of unrelenting misery. She wraps a blanket firmly around her shoulders and shivers. She cannot get warm, no matter how hard she tries. The healers have no explanation for this.*
