I couldn’t resist.
The begining of ‘Like Father, Unlike Son’ always gives me such a laugh. Why?
Well, first you have Dante practicing kung fu/generic martial arts in an age old ‘sea plateau with crashing waves’ cliche, looking concentrated, powerful and very zen.
And it zooms out and scrolls over to the side to Zhalia, and...well...
She is...less than pleased...with the continued time on the island.
It’s the grumpiest I’ve ever seen anyone on a beach, and that’s sayin’ something if you’ve lived in Florida for 21 years. The change in emotion and intensity level is just hilarious to me.
Dante’s background text in Zhalia’s pic:
*Super Karate Chop!*
*Background Zen*
“What sound does an electric monk make?”
“Hollywood Trainers hate him!”
Zhalia’s smaller texts, top right then in logical reading order from right to left and skipping ‘i fucking hate this place’:
I will suckerpunch anyone who tries to speak to me.
Rest assured, murders are being planned.
I fucking hate seaguls.
Who the fuck is humming mantras?
Holy fucking shit, LET’S GO ALREADY!
