It's crazy how weak i am to babies like. Super effective. I can't look at a baby or i drop dead from sheer awe. If i find out there's a baby i will seek them out and observe them as long as i possibly can. I am entralled by babies they have such power over me

I have read the update from discord regarding global rollout of teen-by-default settings: I am fundamentally against the principle of this feature, and I hope I'm not alone in that – from what I've seen in the online spaces i frequent, it seems I am not.
I have many longstanding friends I talk to on discord, but if they carry through with this policy, I will have to abandon the platform and migrate to a new one, hopefully bringing those friends with me in order to keep in touch.
Rest assured the reason for this is not my age: I am an adult, my discord account is six years old at time of writing, so even if it was created when I was 12 (tehnically BELOW the lowest age you're allowed to be on discord) I would be over 18 already; this is also not a matter of functionality: I don't believe any of the channels i frequent are flagged as 18+, my ability to use the platform would be mostly unchanged by the rollout. This is not to say i would blame anyone for leaving discord based on these reasons over mine.
This is purely a matter of principle: I will not use a platform that requires to see my ID and/or “assess” my face to access its features; and ultimately, the service provided by discord is wholly and easily replaceable by a myriad of other platforms, should they choose to go down that route.
