Music is important to Violet. She has plenty of favourite songs and whenever she is alone in her room she loves to dance and sing along to her “happy” playlist to relax.
However this playlist is reserved for the rainy days and for when she misses home. When she misses the days she could be a child her age, no responsibilities, the afternoons singing along to Édith Piaf with her grandmother at the manor. Most of the songs are old fashion but they remind her of her childhood and she often finds herself singing along to them whenever it rains.
Asides the old fashioned songs, Violet also added a few more recent ones with the dreamy melancholic vibes, often finding solace in the soft melody and voices whenever she can’t sleep due to the thunderstorms.
ღ⇝The playlist
Jimmy’s playlist are her lifetime favorite songs. Jimmy obviously doesn’t follow any trends, she follows her heart. She loves anything that calms her down, anything that makes her feel soothed, relaxed and happy. If the song has all this, she immediately adds it into her playlist.
Coincidence or not, her playlist also says a lot about her. Her greed for attention is much deeper than just being noticed, she has this deep desire to feel loved and cared for. But when she expresses it, it backfires her.
She’s a huge fan of The Beatles and Panic! at the disco’s Northern Downpour album. She also loves how old songs have much more love in them than the modern ones. Fun fact, the last song just recently caught her. If asked, she’ll claim it’s soothing and makes her feel hapy. But it’s much deeper than this.
