Learning how to code is a step in the right direction towards understanding and being able to take better advantage of parametric design. It might be prompting Mad Libs, but we’ve got to start somewhere. 

Further experimenting with structure and form in Rhino.

The final iteration of our Jellyfish House exercise, taking the initial structure from previous versions and building upon it to create a solid structure complete with multiple skins, openings and panelised facades.

To properly understand how we could progress our concepts, we explored precedents of form and materiality, ranging from pieces made from structural glass and the forms that can be achieved, to more traditional methods of construction and materials in timber.

A Rhino exercise to model the Jellyfish House, taken a step further to include not only the exterior skin, but the primary and secondary structures aswell. 

An initial experimentation of form for our pavilion, taking inspiration from the golden ratio. It will provide us with a basis for further exploration of design.
