Can’t begin to express here the impact for good this guy’s presence had on the e3 Conference this past weekend! If you haven’t had the chance to get to know Justin Lee through his online presence, or through one of his bestsellers, “Torn,” or “Talking Across the Divide,” you’re missing out. Justin’s heart for the Body of Christ, including LGBTQ+ Christians who have felt ostracized from church is most evident, not only in his public presence, but in his willingness to listen to anyone who wanted to talk. What a wonderful group of volunteers for the 2018 e3 Conference! We had our volunteer orientation this morning, and I told this group how grateful I am for their willingness to serve. They’re doing everything from setting up tables & chairs, baking cookies, picking up speakers from the airport, to making sure everyone feels welcome in our home. We have people from lots of churches in the DFW area helping out, but I’m especially proud that the overwhelming majority of our volunteers are from my home church, Highland Oaks.
