Conservative Party Conference Manchester 7 October 2015
Great to have been interviewed on skynews! The bit of David Cameron's speech which hit me the hardest was when he brought up how having an asian, indian, black sounding name can hinder your chances of getting a job. Unfortunately this is true! A friend and I did a test at university - we applied for a job with the same application, different names ... and this lead to different outcomes! This needs to change and I'm proud that our Prime Minister will challenge this. #cpc15 #getinvolved #haveyourvoiceheard #beactive #influence #change #askquestions
I have always suspected Mr. Cameron to be a Leftie.

“Save our NHS! Save our NHS!” Video from today’s #TakeBackMCR wall of sound protest outside the Tory conference in Manchester (6 October 2015).
There are more videos and photos from this action on our Twitter feed at https://twitter.com/TeessidePA/media. A document of a lively protest if not exactly a musical delight.
Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell said the Chancellor looked like he wanted a 'race to the bottom' with councils undercutting each other and warned the poorest areas could get hit most. "We need to ensure that the right safeguards are in place so that poorer areas of the country do not lose out on vital revenue. We run the real risk of seeing the explosion of Tory tax haven councils."
