cow Shane thoughts... cow Shane like he is gentle but still has the potential to harm when spooked, cow Shane like when his owner (ilya) changes something too fast he lashes out (tuna melt obvs, but also cows have been known to attack their owners if they change the clothing they wear to come milk them) cow Shane like needing to be milked!! (😏) but it being too time intensive for ilya to do it by hand - he has too many others in the herd to take care of - so he has to let a machine do it, and it never feels as good as when he had Ilya's sole attention, but sometimes if he's very well behaved Ilya will stroke Shane's flank as the machine works him over, and that feels good too. cow Shane like he's being led to slaughter and he doesn't know because Ilya is keeping him calm, because he's designed the run to the abattoir to be as non threatening as possible, but it doesn't matter because Shane would follow him anyway.
cow Shane like everyone looks at him and sees a product (meat, milk, leather) but ilya sees a beast needing to be tamed.

for Me cowshane is a jersey cow bc they are sweet and docile (and cute!!), i must let it be known that they also happen to be the breed that yields the most cream but okay okayyyy
maybe farmerilya has a lot of holsteins, they produce a Lot of milk, he's able to sell a lot of good product, but he wants something sweeter for himself, doesnt want to cut into his own milk supply, so he gets cowshane for a little pasture behind his house, away from the bigger cows where he might get hurts or scared, sets him up in a small barn with an open field, stays with him before dawn hooked up to the milking machine so he doesnt have to go into the big facility with all the other cows, pets him gently and talks to him softly and tells him he's ilyas special boy, his favorite, that he's just for him, and then he leaves for the day to work, and cowshane is left to graze and wait for his farmer to come back and take care of him.....
on special days ilya leaves him all swollen and waiting while he takes care of the other cows, comes back home to milk him by hand.... 😋😋😋
(cowshane knowing his milk is just for his farmer, being taken out of the pasture one day and walked along the forest into a building he's never been to before, all while farmerilya whispers soft promises about how no one but ilya is going to get a single piece of him, its alright, almost done now....)
