La marque a écouté une partie des critiques, en modernisant certains points, et en en conservant d'autres sur son Plenue D3.
Modernisant largement les entrailles du Plenue R2, le Plenue R2 de Cowon améliore sensiblement la qualité sonore sans sacrifier l'autonomie. Pour qui voudrait un excellent modèle non-connecté, ce baladeur coréen est dans ce qu se fait de plus intéressant.
