It depends if they’re in active use or not, and where they are placed. If it’s in some corner somewhere and the spider is clearly still using it then it’s best to just leave them - you’re likely to experience far more pests by removing every cobweb you see, since spiders are natural pest controllers. But most cobwebs that you will see around the house are abandoned and fine to vacuum up, and if the spider isn’t sitting in it then it’s probably not in use. I would note though that you should check webs thoroughly before removing them, especially in the corners - spiders are very good at hiding.
