The announcement is subtle yet harsh - An intrusion

You’re unaware of its casualties - But are well versed on effects

Stripped outer beauty - or by others definition

It’s so sad how you fool your strengths for lacks

Causing haziness - Continuous dizziness

Where temporary blacked vision is the assumed end

1 too many - Two too many

Bless God for sparing the third

It’s taken -  So muc

Hopelessness has vanished - Jarring fear is now endorsed

Burring all good things with the first - Because she was

It’s taken - So much

I don’t look forward to this weekend

It’ll just be a reminder of how much this has taken from us                  

I know I won’t cry

I’m sorry if I’ve ever offended you

That my lack of emotion was mistaken for carelessness and un-appreciation

That - that dreaded night can’t be re-done, and this anger towards my actions can’t be erased.

                  I should have never left.

That ample time was wasted in the art of persuading, convincing that I could be yours.

I’m sorry for opposing to your many proposals in concluding our time,

my optimistic spirit got the better of me.

Yet the memory of every gesture continues to mar my mind and is constantly appreciated
