Did some dyeing today. I'm getting inspired looking at dyeing videos and completed yarns on here. I used blue and raspberry mx dyes. I wanted more white on the middle hank, but I accidentally dunked it trying to move the pot from the stove. It was in for a couple seconds but that was all it needed. The accidental dunk did make me realize two things however! 1) I can do gradients or pale shades quickly without making several dye baths, as I have limited pots. And 2) I can do the sprinkling of powder onto the yarn and have it stick easily, so long as I don't drown the bath in colour.
