In times of chaos, paint chaos. Or sonething like that? I don't know, the past few days have just been weird. We're living in a rather strange time right now. However I actually don't want to pay too much attention (by posting about it, I read the news more than ever) to the situarion around this new virus I'm doing anyway. The virus itself doesn't scare me that much, but I'm more concerned about the way other people react. I knew people from my country can be rather seldfish, always on the hurry, putting themselves first and only think of other peoples well-being when they are told to do so. But I never expected these people to go all apeshit and literally fight for milk/toilet paper in supermarkets. I'm disappointed. Then there's the the fact that a lot of places are closed. No scouting for several weeks. No sports, no cafes or restaurants, but also no school/college anymore until April 6th. Which is weird for someone who actually enjoys going to school. And what will the consequences be? Going back to school in summer? Or during the spring break? But the thing that concerns me the most is that no one knows for how long this will go on. Besides the negativity, stress and for some people panic there's also a lot of positivity in this situation and I don't want to complain. I get the time to catch up on homework. I can spend more time on art and music, which will hopefully help me get over certain insecurities. I hopefully get to spend more time with my love as well. Hopefully everyone stays safe and happy out there!
