questions yes i have questions
So, what do meat-eaters do about meat? Do they just... suffer from malnutrition, or do they have alternatives? Does the Lamb force this for any particular reason, like instilling and normalizing incredible control or just a "I want the meat. Give me the meat." kind of thing?
For Figre: Smash. And is he wearing a Loyalty necklace?
For Yarjul, who is. Cough. I am normal about. BUT ALSO, it made me notice the Heart symbol on the robes. What do the smaller shapes around it mean, and, notably, why is Yarjul's so much sharper than the others? Is that because it's a sacrifice? Also: I see that Dark Necklace. Is the necklace impacting it even before the sacrifice? Is that a necessary part of the ritual?
For Jamabre, who I am also normal about and looking at respectfully, I just wanna know her origin story. Stares. I also note the interesting detail that she's not high in loyalty, yet she has a disciple halo. Interesting interesting. Eyes.
YES YES YES YES I LOVE BIG PARAGRAPHS LIKE THESE THAT LET ME RAMBLE ABOUT A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT THINGS YES YES
“So, what do meat-eaters do about meat? Do they just... suffer from malnutrition, or do they have alternatives?”
The good Lamb dictates what kind of food circulates. A happy byproduct is that more physically powerful followers become weak and dependent on them! Less likely to leave.
“Does the Lamb force this for any particular reason, like instilling and normalizing incredible control or just a "I want the meat. Give me the meat." kind of thing?”
It is to keep their dead culture alive- or what Lamby can remember of it. They definitely remember that sheep don’t eat meat, and in attempts to recreate Home, has enforced this rule pretty strictly. If you have any complaints about the community diet, please see the Supervisor! Perhaps something can be.. negotiated.
“For Figre: Smash. And is he wearing a Loyalty necklace?”
First of all, ask nicely. Secondly, yes! The good Lamb really values followers that can read and write.
“…it made me notice the Heart symbol on the robes. What do the smaller shapes around it mean?”
They’re meant to mimic the benevolent Lamb’s robes! As a follower’s loyalty increases, the shapes on their robes shifts to look more like hearts and triangles as well as shifting in hue. You then could say newbies are.. squares, hehe.
“and, notably, why is Yarjul's so much sharper than the others?”
“Is that because it's a sacrifice?”
It is not meant to be liked.
“Is the necklace impacting it even before the sacrifice? Is that a necessary part of the ritual?”
“I just wanna know Jamabre’s origin story.”
Well wouldn’t that be convenient? I’ll say that Jamabre is an OG, she’s been at Home for almost as long as Henomer has.
“I also note the interesting detail that she's not high in loyalty, yet she has a disciple halo. Interesting interesting. Eyes.”
Interesting detail indeed! Eyes.
