my god this episode was so good so many funny and significant things to note just from this one episode
1- these kids just go around and destroy so much stuff with no regard to what it is i love it- like with xavier's drones- the four of them completely smashed these expensive pieces of technology 😭😭😭
2- elder marks character gets so much insight in this episode- not only does it show how deep his relationship with kenneth was (i.e. "kenny" and the way kenneth adresses him without any "what's up" or "yo" kinda conversation fluff that he does with david and barry) SECOND of all- it shows that mark is easily driven by jealousy- which isn't something that's necessarily new as we see his short fuse in other episodes- such as when jerry stole the sword- mark snaps at david and barry a lot in that episode- and then in the dibs court episode- mark snaps at that other kid (i don't remember his name). not only does this episode solidify marks personality but it also solidifies his motives
3- what is gonna happen to the elders???? david and barry left- saying mark is the one who hasn't changed- (GOD I LOVE CHARACTER DEPTH)- david said he'll do something productive- probably getting a job or leaving the creek momentarily- barry also followed david out- presumably also leaving the creek momentarily. mark is also seen alone in the future episodes a lot-
