About the Role
As a Program Manager for Cost Controls, you’ll be a part of Google’s Technical Infrastructure team, responsible for ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery of Google's global data centers.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Leading and supporting project controls (budget and schedule) for infrastructure projects.
Working directly with project managers and engineers to plan, execute, and review capital projects.
Providing strategic insights backed by data to optimize decision-making.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain cost control integrity across various metro and site-level projects.
This role offers both on-site engagement and remote collaboration, making it a perfect blend of hands-on and strategic project management.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Data Center teams, engineering groups, and finance departments to ensure project objectives are met.
Lead initiatives focused on performance measurement and cost control standardization.
Support setup, execution, and assurance of project controls across various locations.
Manage schedules, track budgets, analyze risks, and report results to executive stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement processes and performance enhancement initiatives.
Present complex data insights in a clear, actionable manner to both executives and engineers.
