Between working on grad school application stuff and holiday business, and now a cold this week, I haven’t been doing that much costume stuff, so it feels good to work on something simple this week. Even without doing a full makeup test, I already love how Syd is turning out, since my wig and sweatshirt arrived today! The sweatshirt is thinner than I expected, but randomly has a bunch of pockets sewn into the front facing, which will be handy at a con. This is the late 00s/early 10s PC experience: a big monitor, dedicated peripherals, and the machine being the central hub for all pre-con operations. No smartphone could do what this beast did.
