Sitting on the edge of the large bed, made especially to fit someone of his size, Kal-Sar watches the tiny Ieuzonian medic type away. It had been months since he was rescued by the very same medic. His throat had healed aside from a nasty scar, but scars were nothing new to him, his body was littered with them.Ā
What concerned her the most was his voice. The wound he obtained had damaged his vocal cords severely, and he had been rendered mute as a result of it. She had been spending weeks trying to see if she could pinpoint the extent of the damage and repair it - to no luck so far.
He frowns. While he admired her tenacity, part of him knew that he would never speak again. Truthfully it didnāt matter. He was free, and had Vynera at his side. That alone was more than he could have hoped for.
