ideally it would have been about his relationship with himself. about coming to love himself, not only through the undying support of his friends, but primarily from all the strength he’d have found within himself. it would have been about learning that there’s things out of his control that he cannot and should not blame himself for, that it’s okay to not put on a happy face or wear a mask every day bc there’s people who love him unconditionally and are there for him to hear him out, listen to his vents, give him good advice and a shoulder to cry on. ideally, it would have been about friendship and how being the “seventh wheel” was basically bull bc leo belonged, was accepted and most importantly, accepted himself, and a romantic relationship or lack thereof would not define who he is, his place in the seven or his worth
