Well, I guess it's mostly that I've always been into villains, I also really like tragic characters and I mostly imagined him as a tragic villain. Meridell screwed over the citadel, and he had a lot of resentment towards them that was, pretty justified, eventually getting carried over by his anger and ambition. Also I'm super into birds and beefy guys, and Lord Kass is a very beefy bird~
That’s honestly a pretty fair answer! Villains are pretty cool and tbh the Darigan Citadel vs. Meridell actually… has more moral ambiguity than most other things on Neopets? Like we can all agree that Skarl’s a jerk but neither kingdom is actually… black and white. The Citadel definitely has justified resentment toward Meridell and I can easily see how this carries to Kass.
(That’s actually not too far off from my conception of Kass… except that villain!Kass isn’t really tragic but his past was… which might be the same thing pfft. I actually have one or two … pieces of writing?… about him that go in that direction.)
And good point about birds and beefy guys, I can’t really argue with that.

I meant it more as a joke than anything else–I like Kass well enough as a villain, but I’d be happy to receive an explanation as to why he’s such a loved husbando, however you decide to explain it. x)

Well, lots of FA artist use paypal, I’d recommend you to, instead of giving out your paypal accnt, ask for your commissioners’ so you can send them an invoice. So they don’t fuck up anyway.
Hey, good thinking! Another thing I could do is make sure to only accept payments from Paypal accounts with sufficient funds so as to avoid fraudulent chargebacks from their banks, as Paypal won’t do shit about those.
