ngl i never actually finished atla (not bc i don’t adore it bc i’m scared of finishing it and also i keep forgetting. it’s been a year someone stop me) and i honestly don’t get the appeal of korra? like i love the canon wlw elationship and id watch it just for that but idk it doesn’t seem that interesting to me
(there is no canon wlw relationship in korra tbh, it’s only alluded to in the very last second of the last episode. BUT it’s very very very present in the graphic novels, if you wanted to read those, i’ve only caught snippets but they’re very good)

moby dick is 100% homoerotic and its entirely intentional. the chapter the squeeze of a hand (or the touch of a hand i forget) is the most notable but also the first 20 something chapters of the book in which ishmael and queequeg become totally and completely devoted to each other, lay in bed together holding each other and enjoying human warmth, and get married and devote their lives to each other. all im saying is ishmael is a potentially unreliable narrator and he almost definitely left some stuff out :/
