Has it ever occurred to you that your condescending commentary on confessions will make people feel worse/hesitant about sharing them to try to get something off their chest? You're just here to start drama, Jesus Christ. Let people have their opinions, even if I don't personally agree with some of them either.
Noted. I’d like to hear from some more people about this before I change how I do things, though. (non-anon preferably, so I know it’s not all the same person.)
The reason I’m not changing straight off is because I’ve received a lot of compliments about how I run this, but only very few messages like yours. I want to know what general opinion is before I change something that some people have said they like.
And the reason for the commenting is that I mostly do it for clarification. Like the cosplay one, where I linked to a pic of the character mentioned for people who don’t know who she is. I guess my comments can seem rude though, like my comment on the one about thisisnotacorset only reblogging people who are thinner than they are, which was hilarious to me considering Scarlet’s size, and also unnecessarily body-shaming. IDK, if you feel I was rude on one of your submissions, tell me which and I will remove or edit the comment. Sorry if I rustled your jimmies, brah.
Also, you think I’m only here to start drama. That’s a pity. I’m not. I and the other original mod started this because we believe in the equalizing nature of anonymity and that it’s easier to share intimate things when anon. Drama was something we knew would be inevitable, but it wasn’t something we particularly wanted to deal with. The majority of the confessions here have nothing to do with drama anyway , so I’m quite happy. Despite what some people think, our community is in general quite friendly.
Dunno why I’m bothering to say all this, though. It’s probably not going to convince you. Hopefully someone will feel like answer made things clearer for them…
