How lovely to find your missive this morn! The enclosed photo of your terribly elegant home has renewed mine determination to feather my nest. In fact, I rode today to Heidel and on to Calpheon to acquire a few bits of furniture and lighting fixtures from the candle vendor in Calpheon you’d introduced me to. On-route, just entering Heidel, I came across sunflower bedecked barrels identical to those in the photo you’d sent through! Of course I had no idea they spelled the beginnings of an ale festival and so did not stop my travels for long {tho I did manage a photo}. The festival explains the revelers I encountered on the roads, whom I was fair certain, were well into their cups! I should of course be delighted to accompany you to the festival should you be willing to escort. T’would be wonderful to have your knowledge of the event and company! I must say my travels, tho small in scope, have me questioning my thought to remain in Velia. I am comfortable here and do so love the sea but perhaps there are other places I should see? I continue to fret about establishing a garden of mine own, but surely good earth and sea access are not incompatible? You must share your thoughts about this land’s geography.
