"No I’m fine," her voice echoed through the darkened woods as she spoke to the voice on the other end. "I don’t need a babysitter to walk me home. You all need to get back before your caught. Wasn’t Jim supposed to be doing suprise inspections this week? How much do you want to bet it’s going to be at night some point where he’s certain to catch one of you in your room? And you’re luck, tonight would be your turn. Can you imagine how angry he’s going to be when you’re not there?!” A pause. “I promise. I’m fine. It’s not the first time I’ve walked home in the dark after a mission. If it makes you feel any better I’ll text you when I’m home.

"Alright. Goodnight."

Pressing the end button on her phone, Yumi quickly pocketed the device. What a worrier! It would only take her an extra few minutes to get out of the woods seeing as they were nearly there. Would it have been a good idea to go to Kadic and leave that way? Probably. But there was a shortcut home and Yumi was exhausted.

And had a bunch of homework.

Her family was all gone for the night, so no worries about getting home late. That didn’t mean that she wanted to be out late. She just wanted to go home.

A crack. The girl jumped. No big deal, she knew. Probably just some animal. But another crack caught her attention. She heard footsteps. “Okay boys,” she called into the blackness. “If you’re trying to scare me you’re going to want to be a little quieter than that.”

outofpoints; this is nooooooooooooooooot a fair question!! because, for one, WillUmi is and has been my OTP since season 2 aired. Seriously.  And two, all the William’s I RP with are freaking awesome and have such a different chemistry with Yumi that its really hard to choose between! So I took some time and narrowed it down to three. So, I guess these would be in order…?

digitaldunbar - This was the first William that I interacted back when my blog was a sideblog. Actually, this was one of the FIRST blogs I interacted with so Hiraku’s William and my Yumi have interacted for MONTHS. This William has risked his entire life and own well-being to help Yumi. He has been there since the beginning to help her through her corruption. And their lack of realizing that each one does feel something just makes it all that more fun.

linecrossed - Okay Lanna’s William is probably going to kill me for this, but he and Yumi are so dysfunctional that it intrigues me. And hey if the Pilot ships ‘em, why not me? I like their relationship because you can sometimes see glimmers that he cares about her and vise versa, but it’s quickly masked and pushed away because of the dangerous situation that they are in. There’s really no way that they could carry out a relationship without some major repercussions and it’s very tragic to me. And I’m sure you know how much I love angst!

corruptcommander - Y’know as he’s fighting XANA’s influence. There’s something inherently tragic about this relationship and the marriage AU that we had induced some massive feels! Much like with digitaldunbar, there is that split side, although this time there’s more bad than good. They’ve nearly killed each other, but Yumi knows about the good bits of him and struggles to get them back. This time, unlike with digitaldunbar, Yumi is trying to save William. (Although I ship corruptcommander with underhiscontrol\corrupt!yumi WAAAAY more XD hehe))

 Yeah so I know you probably only wanted one, but I narrowed it down to three. Barely. xanawilliam and askwilliamdunbar are both the other two that I ship Yumi with as well, it’s just that they haven’t interacted as long\as often yet.
