I love your sinners works!! If you have the time could you do a request for how the sinners characters would react to their human loved one being sick or injured?
Remmick
Remmick is a disaster. The second you say, âI donât feel very well,â heâs already hovering. You wake up to find him sitting beside the bed staring at you.
ââŚYe still breathinâ?â
ââŚYes?â
âGood.â
Five minutes later: ââŚStill breathinâ?â
You sigh. âRemmick.â
Heâs genuinely distressed because human illnesses make no sense to him. He canât fight a cold. He canât threaten it. He canât bite it. He spends the entire illness glued to your side, constantly checking your temperature with the back of his hand.
If you cough? He looks personally offended.
âWho did that to ye?â
âItâs a virus.â
âWhere is it?â
âRemmickââ
âWHERE?!â
At night he curls around you like a protective blanket and refuses to leave. Our favourite vamp raccoon refuses to leave you.
Stack
Stack becomes a surprisingly competent nurse. He pretends heâs annoyed at first though. âBaby, I leave ya alone for five minutes and yer immune system starts freelancinâ.â
Meanwhile heâs already got: water, medicine, blankets, soup and three different thermometers all at the ready for you.
âDrink.â
âIâm not thirsty.â
âWasnât a suggestion.â Heâs actually worried sick. If you fall asleep against him heâll immediately stop moving because heâs terrified of waking you. Then heâll sit there for four hours with his leg asleep because his baby human is sick and needs his affection.
Mary
Mary becomes incredibly gentle and motherly. Sheâs the type who quietly appears with tea before youâve even asked.
Need another blanket? Sheâs already bringing it. Need medicine? Already handled. Need someone to sit with you? Sheâs there.
The scary thing is how calm she remains. Youâd think she wasnât worried at all. Then she brushes your hair away from your forehead and asks: âTell me honestly. How bad is it?â
And suddenly you realize sheâs been worrying the whole time. Sheâs just hiding it better than the others.
Bo
Bo acts like youâre being dramatic. For approximately ten minutes. Then he sees you actually look miserable and decides he has to do something about it. âAlright. Move over.â
He takes over the entire situation. No arguments. Youâre staying in bed. Youâre drinking water. Youâre eating something.
The funniest part? He absolutely babies you while pretending he isnât. âIâm not fussinâ over ya.â
Heâs literally adjusting your blankets. âIâm just fixinâ this.â
Heâs literally checking your temperature. âShut up and get better already.â
Bert
You sneeze once and Bert appears from another room like a demon summoned from hell. âWHAT WAS THAT?â
âA sneeze.â
âYOU SURE? SOUNDED LIKE YâWERE DYINâ!â He spends the first day convinced youâre dying. The second day heâs convinced youâre recovering. The third day heâs worried again. He has no consistency. But he never leaves. Heâs constantly making terrible jokes because he hates seeing you miserable.
âGood news.â
âWhat?â
âIf ya turn into a zombie Iâll still love ya.â
You then spend the day cuddling on the couch and him smooching your forehead every 30 seconds because he believes itâs healing you somehow. He will however search for a doctor eventually.
Joan
Joan researches everything. By day two sheâs read seventeen medical articles. You mention a symptom once and she remembers it forever. âYour cough sounds better than yesterday.â
ââŚHow do you know that?â
âI made notes.â
âYou made notes?!â
She made notes. A whole notebook of notes.
You discover sheâs been tracking your temperature, appetite, sleep and symptoms like an actual doctor. Sheâs basically conducting a scientific study called: how to keep my human alive.
Cornbread
Cornbread is calm. The kind of calm that means heâs already decided heâs not leaving your side until youâre better. You wake up and heâs in the chair. You nap and heâs still in the chair. You wake up again.
Still there.
âHave you moved?â
âNope.â
âWhy?â
ââCause youâre sick.â
If you try getting out of bed heâll just point.
âBack.â
âCornbreadââ
âBack.â
Will bear-crush you at night and tell you that he isnât leaving your side until you get better.
Annie
Annie is the sweetest nurse imaginable. She has it all covered. Soup, tea, fresh blankets, warm compresses and soft kisses on your forehead. She turns your room into the coziest place on Earth. And she talks to you constantly because she knows being sick can feel lonely.
âNeed anything, sweetheart?â
âNo.â
âOkay. Iâll ask again in ten minutes.â
And she does. Every ten minutes. At some point you wake up to find she fell asleep sitting beside your bed with her hand still holding yours.
Anya is live and ready to show you everything. Watch her strip, dance, and perform exclusive shows just for you. Interact in real-time and make your fantasies come true.

Remmick x Reader is toxic if not a lil bit yandere at worst and disgustingly obsessed with his partner it makes everyone else gag
Cornbread x reader is a trial of keeping the goofy outta serious situations but does his best to protect
Delta slim x reader is a toxic emotionally unavailable relationship built on trauma bonding and grief
Bo Chow x Reader is hidden secrets and steady support
Pearline x Reader is more secrets and guilty meetings with sweet smiles
Annie x Reader is Divine devotion and longing for something that cannot be given
Grace x Reader is fierce loyalty but putting stability first
These are just my first thoughts on how I view their relationships with an oc/reader mindset.
Remmick to me will always be toxic af whether that just be his conformity kink or the fact that he also is a master manipulator ⨠still would give him a kiss through the glass of the window or line my body in silver cause bitches ain't out here to get bitten.
All men in sinners can get pregnant now. Like imagine not pulling out in time and Bo chow is now carrying your baby and now you have to go to court for child support.
Or like you just wanna baby trap stack for some reason so he wonât go back to Mary.
Or like smoke calling you out online for being a dead beat with 5 other baby daddies and need to pay child support.
Ngl I love your Sinners fanfics since they're the only ones that are closer to getting Cornbread content. I do have one request in mind right now: Since you did one on the reader getting jealous how would the vampires react to being jealous themselves?
Cornbread
Cornbread sees it and sighs like youâre giving him extra work. âOh hell noâŚdonât make me get up.â
He tries ignoring it for a minute. He wants to avoid the effort. But when the flirting continues? He stands, cracks his neck, and strolls over with the slow confidence of a man who knows everyone should be scared of him.
âMove along,â he says simply.
If they donât? He steps closer. Too close. âI said: move along. Champ.â
Then he puts an arm around your shoulders and grumbles: âWhy people always gotta go after whatâs mineâŚ? Should I tattoo my name on your forehead for âem to get the fuckinâ point?â Proceeds to kiss said forehead and you both walk away.
Stack
Stack acts amused. Thatâs how you know heâs jealous. Some guy at the bar buys you a drink? Stack starts grinning like heâs watching a comedy special.
âOh this is adorable,â he says, leaning back. âLilâ man thinks he has a chance.â
The stranger gets cocky and touches your arm. Stackâs smile disappears instantly. He stands slowly, walks over, takes your drink from your hand, downs it in one go, then wraps an arm around your waist.
âLemme help ya out, buddy,â he says pleasantly. âThat oneâs taken.â
The guy scoffs. Big mistake. Stack leans in close enough for his eyes to flash red. âNow walk away before I stop using manners.â
Afterward heâs all smugâpulling you into his lap, kissing your shoulder, muttering: âPeople got real bad survival instincts around you, baby.â
Mary
Mary gets real mad real quick. Youâll be chatting happily with someone and suddenly realize Maryâs gone quiet beside you. Very quiet. Then she smiles politely at the person flirting with you.
And somehow thatâs worse.
âOh sweetheart,â she says softly, âI think youâve misunderstood the situation.â
The room suddenly feels ten degrees colder. The flirt nervously laughs. Mary doesnât. She steps beside you, smooth as silk, and gently fixes your collar like she owns you.
Because she does.
âYouâre wasting your time,â she says sweetly. âTheyâre already spoken for.â
Then she takes your hand and leads you away with perfect elegance while the poor soul behind you reconsiders every life choice theyâve ever made.
Bo
Bo gets OFFENDED. âAre you kiddinâ me right now?â
Youâre just standing there while some stranger flirts. âNah, nah, hold on. I leave ya unattended for FIVE minutes and suddenly folks think thereâs applications open?â
He marches over, grabs your waist possessively, and points at himself. âDo I look dead to you? âCause Iâm standinâ right here.â
The stranger awkwardly apologizes. Bo just laughs humorlessly.
âDamn right.â Then he turns to you with narrowed eyes. âAnd you. Smilinâ all pretty at people. Dâya enjoy seeinâ me suffer or somethinâ?â
Meanwhile his hand never leaves your hip the rest of the night. Not once.
Bert
Bert gets jealous in the funniest possible way.âOH this motherfuckerâs flirting.â
You almost choke laughing because he says it with genuine betrayal. The stranger tries to introduce themselves and Bert shakes their hand aggressively.
âHi. Husband. Existing husband. Current husband. Permanent husband.â
The person leaves almost immediately.
Bert turns to you, offended. âDid you SEE that? Right in front of me! The nerve!â
Youâre laughing too hard to answer. He grabs your face dramatically. âBaby. How dare ya?! Iâm sensitive. Delicate. Frail. I demand kisses! Now!â Proceeds to kiss you all over your face.
Five minutes later heâs over it and asking if you wanna get fries.
Joan
Joanâs jealousy is terrifying because she remains perfectly composed. Someone flirts with you at a bookstore cafĂŠ and Joan simply watches from across the room.
Calm. Elegant. Deadly.
Then she closes her book, stands, and glides over.
âDarling,â she says to you warmly, completely ignoring the stranger at first. âThere you are.â
She kisses your hand. Only then does she acknowledge the other person with a small glance. ââŚStill here?â
The flirt stammers something awkward.
Joan smiles faintly. âHow persistent.â
You can practically hear the personâs survival instincts activating. Joan loops her arm through yours and walks away without another word, entirely confident youâll follow.
You do. Obviously.
Annie
Annie gets clingy when jealous. Someone compliments you and suddenly Annie is attached to your arm like glue.
âOh wow,â she says brightly. âThatâs so sweet! They are beautiful, arenât they?â
You can already hear the danger underneath the cheerfulness. The stranger nods nervously. Annie smiles wider. Then she kisses your cheek. Then your jaw. Then your temple.
One after another until youâre laughing.
âAnnieââ
âWhat?â she asks innocently. âIâm just loving my partner.â
The stranger excuses themselves almost immediately.
Annie waits until theyâre gone before hugging you tightly. Then she asks for cuddles as compensation for her suffering.
Remmick
Remmick notices immediately.
Doesnât matter if someone just smiled at you for too long or touched your shoulder in conversationâŚhis head snaps towards it. At first he tries to behave. He stands there with his arms crossed, jaw flexing, eyes narrowed into slits while he watches some idiot laugh at your jokes a little too eagerly.
Then you smile back. Oh, now heâs suffering.
He lets out the most wounded sigh imaginable and mutters to himself:
ââŚAye. Fine. Cool. Great. Love that.â
You donât even realize heâs crossed the room until suddenly heâs behind you, chest against your back, chin dropping heavily onto your shoulder.
âHi,â he says loudly with a large fanged grin.
The poor soul flirting with you goes pale immediately because Remmick is staring at them like heâs mentally measuring their coffin.
You try not to laugh. âRemmickââ
âNo, no, continue,â he says sweetly, smile stretched too wide. âDonât let me interrupt ye flirtinâ with me beloved.â
The person says. âI wasnât flirting.â
âMmhm.â He does not believe them. One arm snakes around your waist possessively.
ââŚDâye mind?â he finally asks them. âYer seconds away from becominâ dinner.â
They leave QUICK. The second theyâre gone, Remmick turns to you with narrowed eyes.âDid ye enjoy that?â
You grin. âMaybe a little.â
âA little?! Oh, thatâs cruel. Yer cruel.â He clutches his chest dramatically. âFlirted with another man right in front oâ me beautiful giant eyes.â
âI smiled at him once.â You tried to justify yourself.
âTWICE.â Then he proceeds to drag you away by the hand so he can sulk in private. Except his sulking mostly consists of him wrapped around you like an overgrown bat while grumbling into your neck. âShould bite people who look at ye too long. Would solve a lotta problems.â
You laugh and kiss his cheek.
He immediately softens.
ââŚAlright,â he mumbles. âMaybe not bite. Maybe just hiss at âem. Very loudly.â
Man I love ur Sinners headcannons(closest thing I could get to Cornbread x reader content tbh) I have one cute request...well two where the reader kisses them off guard or the vampire is asleep and the reader comes in and cuddles with them.
Remmick
He'd been reading, or pretending to anyways, sprawled out on the couch. Maybe it was how soft his lips looked in that moment, or the way he'd been muttering to himself in that lilting Irish drawl you loved so much...
You couldn't help yourself.
You leaned down and kissed him. Remmick froze for only a moment. For a heartbeat, he didn't move at all.
And then he smiled.
Before you could pull away, his hand shot up, cupping the back of your neck and bringing you right back down to deepen the kiss.
"Oh no, darlinâ. Ye don't get to just kiss me once and run off. That's not real polite, s'it now? No no...Me thinks you best gimme another piece of sugar. Me thinks I deserve it." He then kissed you again. His thumb brushed over your jaw, coaxing you closer, savoring every second of his little special moment with his special person.
When he finally pulled back, you were breathless, and he was grinning widely.
"And now...me thinks we should get rid of all yer clothes and get to the bedroom before I lose my patience and just take ye on the couch instead."
You laughed softly, still dazed. "Well...okay then. Guess we have to move."
He smirked, pressing one last kiss to your cheek before effortlessly carrying you. "Oh, we definitely do, mo chroi."
Remmick adores you. Thereâs nothing more to say. He loves the kisses and treats each one of them like a treasure.
Stack
Stack had been leaning back in his chair, one arm draped over the backrest, talking your ear off about another ridiculous plan of his. He was throwing you that lopsided grin that always meant trouble and kept making you laugh.
You didnât plan to kiss him. You justâŚdid.
You leaned in while he was mid-sentence. The words died on his tongue the instant your lips touched his. For half a second, he froze, blinking like he wasnât sure what just happened. Then his hand shot out, catching you by the hip before you could retreat.
âWell, damn,â he breathed against your mouth, his grin curling back in place, showing you that golden tooth. "Didnât know it was that kinda conversation."
You tried to step back, but he wasnât having it. He tugged you closer until you stumbled into his lap. "Nuh-uh, sweetheart. Y'donât get to drop a bomb like that and just walk away."
He kissed you again and is thumb brushed along your jaw, tilting your face just enough so he could catch the little sound you made when he deepened the kiss. When he finally pulled back, he rested his forehead against yours, still smiling.
"Thanks, baby. Been wantin' to do that all damn day."
You laughed breathlessly and he squeezed your waist before letting you go.
"Now," he added, eyes glinting, "or you can either pretend that didnât just happenâŚor you can stay right here for round two. Your call, baby."
No need to say, you ended up having one hell of a make out session after that.
Mary
Mary was sitting cross-legged on the couch, painting her nails cherry red while humming under her breath. Youâd been watching her for a while and before you even realized what you were doing, you leaned forward and pressed your lips to hers.
She gasped, the brush slipping and leaving a streak of red across her thumb.
You pulled back, mortified. "Mary, Iâ"
But before you could finish apologising, she caught your chin between her fingers and tilted your face back toward hers. The corner of her mouth curled into a slow, knowing smile.
"Well, sugar plum," she murmured, "if thatâs your way of sayinâ hello, Iâve been greetinâ people wrong my whole life."
She leaned in and kissed you. She tasted like cherries. "You tryinâ to kill me again, sweet thing? My poor heart canât take surprises like that."
You smiled shyly. "I didnât mean toâ"
"Oh, hush," she interrupted with a laugh, pressing another quick kiss to the corner of your mouth. "You meant it. And I loved it. End of story."
You smiled and kissed her again. At least, you knew now that kissing Mary would never be a problem.
Bo Chow
Bo was leaning against the counter, sleeves rolled up, hands stained faintly with motor oil and a cigarette dangling from his lips. He was talking about something, some repair job of some kind. Youâd been trying real hard to focus on what he was saying, but you kept getting lost in the curve of his mouth, the rough rasp in his tone, the glint of sweat on his throat from working under the sun.
And then you justâŚdid it.
You stepped close, plucked the cigarette from his lips, and kissed him.
The world stopped for a heartbeat.
Bo didnât move. Then, as the shock melted into a grin, his hand came up fast to cup your cheek and he hummed into the kiss.
When he pulled away, that grin of his turned into a smirk. "Well, hell. If I knew ya were gonna do that, Iâdâve stopped talkinâ sooner."
You laughed, a little flustered, trying to step back, but he tugged you right back against him. His thumb brushed over your lip, his gaze dark and warm all at once.
"Hey hey nowâŚnone oâ that," he tutted playfully. "Not done yet. Ya donât just light a fire and walk away, baby. Thatâs not how it works."
He kissed you again with his arms around your body and chuckled before finally letting you go. He wiped his thumb along your jaw where a little smear of oil had rubbed off. "Now look what ya made me do. Got grease all over ya. Guess Iâll have to clean ya up later, huh?"
And he scrubbed you squeaky cleanâŚ
Cornbread
Cornbread was half-asleep on the couch when you did it. Heâd been sprawled there like a cat, one arm draped over his eyes, the other dangling off the side of the couch holding a half-empty glass. Youâd been watching him for a while. He looked so peaceful that you didnât even think before leaning in.
Your lips brushed his, soft as a breath.
He froze for half a second, then his lips curved into that lazy, lopsided grin you knew too well.
"Well, Iâll be damned," he murmured, voice rough with sleep. "Didnât know I was dreaminâ yet."
You started to pull away, embarrassed, but his hand came up slow and steady, catching you by the back of the neck. His thumb traced your jaw, calloused and gentle all at once.
"Uh-uh," he said, his eyes opened now. "Ainât no way youâre kissinâ me like that and walkinâ off. No maâam/sir."
He tugged you closer, just enough for your lips to meet his again. His free hand came to rest at your waist, keeping you there while he deepened the kiss. When he eventually let you go, his grin had gone soft around the edges. "You got a funny way of wakinâ a man up," he teased. "But I like it."
You rolled your eyes, but he chuckled and tipped his head back against the couch. "Donât stop on my account," he added, patting his chest with a wink. "Reckon I could get used to that kinda alarm clock."
Annie
You found her at her worktable, sleeves rolled up, hair in a messy braid, muttering to herself as she pressed dried herbs into little glass jars.
She didnât even notice you coming up behind her.
"Annie?" you whispered her name softly, and she turned just as you leaned in and kissed her. It wasnât long. Just a quick, impulsive press of lips. But it was enough to stop her completely.
Her eyes went wide with her lips parting slightly in awe. "Ohâoh my stars," she breathed out, voice trembling with surprise and delight.
You started to step back, suddenly shy, but Annieâs l hands caught your shirt. "Waitâ" she said quickly with a happy smile. "Now, where are you runninâ off to?"
You blinked, amused, but before you could answer, she was already tugging you back in.
This time she kissed you. Her hands lingered against your chest, feeling your heartbeat, grounding herself in it. When she pulled back, she chuckled, her eyes crinkling with happiness. "Now how am I supposed to focus on work?"
You smiled, brushing your thumb against her cheek. "Guess youâll just have to take a break."
She looked at you, then at the herbs on the table, then back at you and laughed again, bright and gentle. "Yeah. Maybe I will."
And when she leaned in for another kiss, it tasted faintly of honey and sunshine.
Bert
It wasnât planned. You just⌠did it.
Bert froze. Eyes wide. Lips still parted from whatever snarky comment heâd been about to make. For one glorious second, you saw his entire brain stop processingâŚthen his eyebrows shot up.
"âŚDidâdid you justâ" He blinked. "âkiss me?"
You smirked. "Mhm."
Before you could pull away, he grabbed the back of your neck and laughed, low and breathless. "Oh, hell yeah. Come here, darlinâ."
The next kiss was hungry and messy, his hands cupping your face, pulling you closer until your breath hitched. He smiled against your mouth and licked inside your mouthâŚchasing your taste like a starving dog. You broke away and his grin was downright wicked. "Thanks for the gift, baby."
You started to say something, but he cut you off by kissing you again. "Mm-mm. Not done yet. Daddy needs his sugar. Give it here."
You shoved at his shoulder and laughed. And when you kissed him again, he hummed against your lips, smiling so hard you felt it.
Joan
Joan was arranging a stack of papers at the dining table. You watched her for a moment, the way the lamplight caught her silhouette and highlighted the sharp elegance of her features.
You leaned in and kissed her.
She froze immediately, paper trembling in her hands. Her eyes went wide, shock flickering across her otherwise composed face.
Before you could step back, Joanâs hand lifted, brushing your cheek with the gentlest touch. Her fingers lingered there as she leaned into you, meeting your lips with a slow, deliberate kiss. When she pulled away, her eyes softened, glimmering with something she rarely let anyone see.
Her hand remained against your cheek as she leaned back just slightly, her gaze lingering, soft but intense. "A rather sweet kiss. I supposeâŚIâll allow it. And I suppose you have another one for me? It would be rude to not kiss me again."
You grinned, leaning in for another quick peck, and she let out a small laugh before hugging you tightly.

If you are still writing about the vampires from sinners I was wondering how would they react to the reader climbing into bed with them and just falling asleep cuddled up next to them? I understand if you are busy and it takes a while to answer this one there's no rush im just curious â¤ď¸
Remmick
Warning: a cuddle MONSTER.
You wonât get into his bed.
Because heâs in yours the moment he sees an opening. Heâs like a raccoon smelling an opportunity. When your eyes are not on him? SWOOSH. Heâs already flying into your bed and looking at you with wide innocent eyes likeâŚwho? Me? Yeah. I was always there.
It could be the moment you sit up to grab water, turn to fluff a pillow or glance at your phoneâ
SWOOSH.
Heâs there.
One second the room is empty. The next, the mattress dips hard, the blankets yank themselves sideways, and thereâs a vampire suddenly stretched out in your bed like he pays rent. He doesnât. You turn around. Heâs already looking at you. Wide eyes. Innocent expression. Hair mussed just enough to sell the lie. ââŚWhat? Whyâre ye starinâ at me like that?â
âRemmick,â you sigh and pinch your nose. âThatâs my bed.â
He blinks and pretends to not understand. ââŚIs it?â
Yes. Yes it is. It has been. For years. He shrugs, casual as anything, already tugging your blanket up to his chest. âBeen here all night, love. Must be yer memory.â
Liar. Bed thief. You move to push him out. Bad choice. The instant you touch him, he latches onâarms wrapping around your waist, legs tangling with yours, face burying into your chest.
âRemmickââ
He tightens his grip and lets out a satisfied little hum, like a cat settling in. âNope. Too late. Ye looked away. Thatâs on you.â
You glare down at him. He peeks up, eyes sparkling with mischief and zero remorse. ââŚYe gonna fight me, or we cuddlinâ?â
You hesitate. He smiles. He knows he already won. He sighs, long and content. âMm. There we go. Home.â
You try to wiggle free. He growls and shakes his head. âCareful. I bite when disturbed. Didnât even get a smooch. Not one. Not even a pity kiss. Ye justâwent to sleep. Without me. How could ye sleep knowinâ I was out there? On me own? Thinkinâ thoughts?â
âWhat thoughts,â you muttered.
âSad ones.â He answered before squeezing you. âNow, I want me huggies right now or Iâm leavinâ and never cominâ back.â
You stared at him and chuckled. ââŚYou say that every night.â
He humphed and murmured. âAnâ ye would miss me if I did.â
You would. Unfortunately.
Cornbread
Cornbread barely reacts at first. You curl into his side, arm draped over his chest, and he just hums lazily.
âTook ya long enough,â he finally murmurs and one arm comes around you. His chin rests on top of your head and he unconsciously smiles. Heâs asleep within minutesâbut his grip never loosens. If you try to move later, he tightens it unconsciously and pulls you back in.
LikeâŚwho told you you could leave?! đ
âI was just moving,â you whisper, trying not to laugh.
âMm.â His grip tightens again. âNah.â
You try once more, carefully this time.
Big mistake.
Cornbread buries his face into your hair, inhales, and pulls you closer with unmistakable finality. And just like that, you are trappedâpinned under a sleeping vampire who decided that you are not allowed to leave. Ever.
Honestly? You better stop trying.
Bert
Bert notices the second you get close. The moment you even think about climbing in, his head snaps toward you, eyes lighting up.
âOhâoh, are weâ?â he starts, already grinning.
Youâre curled up against him fastâand within seconds, your breathing evens out.
He freezes. For exactly one second.
Thenâ
âOh this is happening,â he whispers, delighted.
Carefully, he shifts and wraps both arms around you. He wiggles a little to get comfortable, nearly jostling you in the process. You nuzzle closer in your sleep. He makes a small, strangled noise of excitement.
His grin goes borderline feralâbut soft. One hand pats your back.
âGentle. Gentle, Bert,â he reminds himself under his breath. You settle deeper against him and he absolutely melts.
âOh, this is nice,â he breathes and grins happily. He discovered his new favorite thing. âThis is really niceâŚWeâre doinâ this every day from now on, by the way.â
You shift slightly, maybe trying to get comfortable. His arms tighten and one leg hooks loosely over yours. He presses his cheek against your head, grinning into your hair. You let out a soft sleepy sigh, completely unbothered.
Bert goes quiet.
ââŚYeah,â he murmurs,. âOkay. I get the hype.â
Joan
Joan is sitting upright in bed, reading.
You climb in beside her, settle against her side, and fall asleep like itâs the most natural thing in the world. She goes completely still.
Thenâslowlyâshe sets the book aside.
Her arm slips around you with surprising gentleness. She presses a kiss to your temple, careful not to wake you.
âGoodnight, my love.â
Annie
Annie gasps softly when you climb in.
âOhâ! Sweetheartââ Too late. Youâre already asleep, curled up close. She smiles so wide it almost hurts. She tucks the blankets around you, strokes your hair, and presses her cheek to yours.
âSleep well,â she whispers, over and over, like a blessing.
She doesnât move all night and reads a book while you nap.
Bo
Bo lets out a quiet laugh when you climb in.
âWell Iâll be,â he drawls. âDidnât even say goodnight.â Youâre already asleep. His arm slides around you automatically, tucking you against his chest like you belong thereâwhich, in his mind, you do. You snore a little. He grins and holds you tighter. You huff softly in your sleep and press closer.
Bo hums low in his chest, pleased, chin settling atop your head. He adjusts the blankets with one hand, tucks them around you both like heâs done this a thousand times. Like he plans to do it a thousand more.
âIf anyone asks,â he whispers to the dark, âyou forced yourself into my arms.â
Sometime later in the night, you shift, maybe trying to roll away.
Bo doesnât wake upâbut his arm tightens immediately, pulling you back flush against him. One leg hooks over yours, heavy and warm, a silent nope.
âMmh,â he mutters. âStay.â
By morning, you wake up trappedâface buried in his chest, his arm draped over you, breath slow and steady against your hair. He stirs when you do, eyes cracking open just enough to look down at you.
âThere yâare,â he says with a smirk. âHey, precious.â
Stack
Stack opens his arms and wordlessly tells you to come closer so he can wrap his arms around you. He knows when itâs nap time and he usually just sits there and takes it.
He first pretended he didnât want it.
But he ended up being its most fervent supporter. He loves cuddle time.
Stack *smirks and strokes the top of your head* âSweet dreams, doll. Stackâs here to keep ya companyâŚAtta girlâŚâ
He leans back just enough to get comfortable without disturbing you, adjusting you against him with surprising care. One hand comes up to cradle the back of your head, keeping you tucked in close. He almost chuckles.
Since when had he turned into such a sap?
Mary
Mary looks down at you when you hug her and smile before gently stroking your hair. âWell hello there, lilâ darlinâ. Having a good time?â
You donât answer and she smiles as she realizes you fell asleep.
âWell nowâŚâ she murmurs, voice dropping to a hush. âAinât you just the sweetest thing.â
She adjusts her hold on you, guiding your head to rest more comfortably against her shoulder. One hand keeps stroking your hair in slow, steady passes, the other settling warm and secure at your back.
For a moment, she just watches you.
Like sheâs memorizing the way your face relaxes in your sleep, the tiny shifts in your breathing, the way you instinctively lean closer without even knowing it.
Her thumb brushes lightly along your arm.
She leans down and presses a gentle kiss to your hairline, lingering just a second longer than necessary. You stir faintly, shifting against her. Instantly, her arm tightens.
âEasy now,â she murmurs instinctively. âI gotcha.â
