Corn chocolate—I know, I know, it sounds weird—is a common souvenir from Hokkaido, which is known for its produce. It’s just sweet puffed corn bound together with white chocolate. I actually think it’s pretty tasty… until you add canteloupe. To be fair, cantaloupe is another thing that Hokkaido is known for, and it’s super popular in Japan buuuut… I just don’t think anything should taste like canteloupe, ever. Or honeydew melon. And I’m standing by that.
